LED Panel Light has various dimming methods. These methods can not only meet different lighting needs, but also play an important role in energy saving, environmental protection and other aspects. The following will introduce in detail several main LED Panel Light dimming methods:
Switch dimming: This is the simplest and most direct way of dimming. Users only need to continuously press the original power switch and change the number and speed of the switch to adjust the brightness of the LED Panel Light. This method does not require additional dimmers, has lower cost and is easy to operate.
Triac dimming: Triac dimming technology usually requires replacing the original power switch with a triac dimmer switch. By rotating the dimmer knob, the user can control the current flowing through the LED to adjust the brightness. This method has high adjustment accuracy, small size, light weight, and is easy to achieve long-distance control. However, it also has some disadvantages, such as the potential for greater noise, higher requirements on LED drivers, and lower efficiency at high power factors.
1-10V dimming: This method requires configuring a 1-10V dimmer switch and connecting a set of 1-10V dimming signal lines to the inside of the LED lamp driver for dimming. The dimming controller controls the brightness of the LED by changing the reference voltage. This method is simple to apply, has good compatibility, high precision, and the dimming effect is better than phase-cut dimming. However, it should be noted that it requires adding additional control lines and controllers, and the cost is relatively high.
PWM dimming: Pulse width modulation (PWM) technology is a digital dimming method. It controls the on-off time of the inverter circuit switch through digital programming, thereby adjusting the LED brightness. This method can achieve a dimming range of 0-100%, with good dimming effect and higher overall cost. It is suitable for intelligent occasions with high dimming requirements.
The above four dimming methods each have their own advantages and disadvantages, and users can choose the appropriate dimming method according to actual needs.
